SAP IS-U Solution Designer

As a SAP IS-U Solution Designer, you translate complex business needs into smart, scalable SAP IS-U solutions that align seamlessly with the overall IT architecture. You play a key role in delivering impactful solutions in the utilities sector, working at the intersection of business, IT, and innovation.

What you’ll do

• You act as the subject matter expert for SAP IS-U across end-to-end business processes.

• You capture business requirements and turn them into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-efficient solution designs (including MVP approaches where relevant).

• You collaborate closely with solution architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and value delivery.

• You evaluate solution feasibility by balancing business value, cost, and technical fit.

• You drive configuration, implementation, and testing, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• You ensure compliance with architecture standards and support integrations with SAP modules and external systems like CRM and Salesforce.

What you bring

• You have strong expertise in SAP IS-U, including processes such as billing, invoicing, metering, device management, and ideally FI-CA.

• You bring proven experience in solution design, configuration, and end-to-end implementation within SAP environments.

• You understand SAP integration landscapes and have experience connecting IS-U with other modules and external systems.

• You have solid technical knowledge (ABAP, enhancements, BAPIs, IDOCs) and can guide development teams effectively.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in SAP delivery and are confident in estimating and delivering solutions.

• You communicate fluently in English; Dutch and/or French are a strong plus, and SAP IS-U certification is an asset.
